Japanese「Ching-Dong」 drum set experience

Chindonya is a traditional Japanese performance band that combines elements of music, theater, and street entertainment. They are often seen promoting shop openings, festivals, and lively local events.

You will first watch an introduction through video and live performance, then:

• Try playing the “Chindon Taiko,” a portable drum set combining a gong and Japanese taiko drums
• Learn how to move and walk gracefully while wearing a kimono
• Take a guided stroll through the streets of Karahori together with the chindonya performers, with plenty of opportunities to take photos

In case of rain, the walk will take place inside the covered shopping arcade only.
Children under 10 are welcome to observe freely (free of charge).
